7 – Day Jinja and Murchison Falls Safari

In the morning, depending on the arrival time, you will be picked up from Entebbe Airport/Drive to Entebbe Hotel for a rest. Depending on your arrival time, you shall have an optional visit to Entebbe surroundings for a stroll. Overnight at Entebbe.

In the morning, you shall leave Entebbe Hotel and drive through Kampala. During your visit to Kampala, the Capital city of Uganda, you will have a guided half-day tour to some of the historical sites of Uganda like the Kasubi Royal Tombs, the Bahai Temple and on the available time, you will have the opportunity to experience Kampala yourself and later lunch at Kampala Restaurant. Later in the afternoon, we shall drive to Jinja. Overnight at Jinja.

In the morning, you will have an amazing half-day guided tour to Masese landing site where you will experience life in reality along the shores of Lake Victoria. You will later be hosted to a delicious luncheon at Walukuba Parish and see the typical surroundings. In the afternoon, you will be driven to Ripon falls where you will experience the impressive water falls. Ripon Falls hotel in front was built by the British Colonialists in early 1950s specially to host Queen Elizabeth who was visiting Africa at the time. You will later be driven to a relaxing and memorable Boat ride, a guided tour to the Source of the Nile. Overnight at Jinja

In the morning, we shall drive to Nawanyago for a half-day interesting guided Agricultural tour where you will experience how cocoa and coffee are grown, harvested, dried and processed into chocolate, sweets etc. You will also experience an exciting moment to cook on the typical three-stone method and later served lunch at the home gardens in the shadow of a big mango tree. Later in the afternoon, we shall drive you back to Jinja to have time for shopping and stroll at Jinja. Overnight at Jinja.

day 5: Early drive from Jinja to Murchison NP
In the morning, we shall embark on yet another exciting and amazing drive to Murchison Falls National Park in Masindi District, the home to a diverse range of wildlife, which you will observe during your visit. This is to take us between 8-9 hours. On our way, we shall stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary.
Murchison Falls National Park is the largest conservation area in Uganda, spanning over an area of 3,840 square kilometers. One of the main attractions of the park is the Murchison Falls, where the Victoria Nile forcefully passes through a narrow crevice and plunges over 40 meters with a thunderous roar. Overnight at/near Murchison Falls National Park.

In the morning depart to Entebbe and enjoy another day. We shall have a lunch stopover at Luweero and see the town surroundings and a visit to the various fresh fruit markets. Luweero is well-known for growing organic and finger-licking fruits like pineapples and mangoes. You will have an opportunity to taste the fruits fresh from the fruit garden. Overnight at Entebbe.
